All about the life of Muthaffar al-Nawab: contemporary Iraqi poet, political dissident, and prominent critic. Al Nawab had a really fascinating and turbulent life. He was known for his powerful revolutionary poems and scathing invectives against Arab dictators, and lived in exile in many countries, including Syria, Egypt, Lebanon and Eritrea. His poetry includes many Arab and international revolutionary symbols. He used his work as a way to incite public emotions against repressive regimes, political corruption and injustice.
